What information is collected by Art Discount and how is this information used?

At Art Discount we automatically analyse the following information: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet; the date and time you access our website; the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site. We use this information to measure the number of visitors to our site, in order to better develop the website to address our users' preferences and to attract new users.

To make a purchase at our site, users are asked to provide their name, email address, billing address and delivery address. This information is securely stored for us to access in the event of us checking any previous orders which you make.

We do not store and cannot access any credit cards details as your order is completed through our online payment provider, SagePay. For more information about SagePay, please visit www.sagepay.com.

No, Art Discount does not sell, trade, lease or distribute the personal information of its users and customers.

How does Art Discount protect this information?

All transmissions of personal user information and credit card details are through secure computer servers which run the latest authentication and data encryption software.

Cookies

Art Discount, will during the course of your visit to our site, store "cookies" on your computer. Cookies are small pieces of information that an internet website can put on your computer to help track information about your visit. The use of cookies is required for our site to function properly because when you add a product to the basket, a cookie is added to your computer so that the basket can track what products you have added. The cookies are used purely for the shopping basket and not to gather personal information about your visit to our site. Credit Card Security

Code 10 checks will be conducted to verify the credit card address against the billing address. These procedures are here to protect you and us against credit card fraud. In certain cases we may require proof of identity before shipping.

Returns & Replacements

All orders are accepted and agreed by both parties under the following conditions: The customer accepts these conditions when ticking the "Terms and Conditions acceptance box" at the end of the checkout procedure.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with the quality of the merchandise you receive, you are entitled to a replacement or refund subject to the following terms:

  • a) You must contact us within 14 days, from receipt of order, so that the exchange or refund can be arranged.
  • b) The customer has a duty of care to return the goods unused, in their original condition and adequately protected and packaged to the following address: Granthams Ltd, Graphics House, Charnley Road, Blackpool, FY1 4PE.
  • c) Carriage costs associated with returned goods are to be paid by the customer. Please remember to obtain a Proof of Posting Certificate from the Post Office as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in the post.
  • d) Liability is restricted to the replacement of the unsatisfactory goods or the refund of their purchase price.
  • e) For the avoidance of doubt; the liability of Granthams Ltd.for any direct or indirect consequential losses is expressly excluded.

- The above terms are in addition to your statutory rights under the laws applying to the sale of goods and distance selling act.

Faulty Goods

Goods received by the customer and claimed to be faulty must be reported to us within 14 days of receipt of order for investigation and consideration. In most cases the goods will need to be returned to Granthams Ltd by the customer and at the customer's expense. If Granthams Ltd find upon receipt of returned goods that they are indeed faulty then the customer is entitled to replacement goods or full refund plus re-imbursement of return carriage costs.

The customer has a duty of care to return the goods, in their original condition and adequately protected and packaged to the following address: Granthams Ltd, Graphics House, Charnley Road, Blackpool, FY1 4PE.

Damaged Goods In Transit/Shortages

In order to comply with our carriers' terms of insurance, we must be informed (by telephone or e-mail) of any damage to goods in transit or shortages within 48 hours of receipt of order Granthams Ltd. will be responsible for the collection of the damaged goods and for replacements to be sent.

Please note:Claims cannot be considered after 48hrs of receipt of order as this would be considered to be outside of contract.

Guarantee & Limitation of Liability

We guarantee your total satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of the merchandise you receive, you are entitled to a full replacement or refund.

We ask that you contact us within 14 days so that the exchange or refund can be arranged to your satisfaction.

a) Granthams Ltd. shall only be liable to the customer for any faulty goods, and that liability is restricted to, at Granthams Ltd. option, the replacement of the faulty goods or the refund of its purchase price.

b) For the avoidance of doubt; the liability of Granthams Ltd. for any direct or indirect consequential losses is expressly excluded.

ALL PRICES INCLUDE VAT. AT CURRENT RATE. (ALL BOOK SALES ARE AT ZERO RATE).
