Art Discount Oil Brushes - Long Flat

A long handled bristle brush ideal for either Oils or Acrylics.
They are resilient, durable and have good colour retention.
Nickel-plated brass ferrule with coloured wooden handle that is made with wood from managed forests.
Please note :- There is little consistency between brush manufacturers as to what sizes actually are, so a No.10 in one brand can be a different size to a No.10 in another brand. To help your selection we have indicated the ferrule width of each brush in millimetres.

Good value
These have become my standard brushes and represent good value for money. Like most student brushes the hairs lack the "hooks" on the tips but I like that because it stops the brushes becoming overloaded with paint. They can lose hairs but they wear down evenly and on balance I'd say these aren't much different from the student ranges by well known mfrs. like prolene.
